This Block of the Month includes coloring and embroidery. It will last 12 months and makes a quilt that is 64‖ x 73‖. Kits for embroidery floss will be available. Each month’s cost is $12 and begins in June."Americana"
1st Thursday 12" BlocksStarting on June 7th, a new block of the month will be creating blocks that are based on 12" stars. A final setting will be made available with the 12th block.
We already have almost 70 people signed up for our Americana Block of the Month that will start on the first Thursday of June at 10 and 6. Check out the first block in red, blue, white, and tan. You can stop in or call us at 419-885-4438 to sign up. We want to make sure that we have enough kits made for everyone who wants one on June 7th. The kits will be $8 for the first one, payable when you pick it up in June; bring it back finished the next month on the first Thursday of July at 10 or 6 or the following Saturday from 10-12 and your next block is free! If you don't bring it back finished at one of those times you simply purchase the block for $6 and you are back in for the next month. It is possible that you may only have to pay $8 for all 12 blocks!
Americana: Reds, Whites, Tans and Blues
1. We meet to pick up our blocks at either 10am or 6:00pm the first Thursday of each month.
2. There is a 20 min. demo to show how to put the block together and hear about new products, fabrics and classes.
3. The blocks are designed to teach you new techniques and use all kinds of fabric styles.
4. The first block is $8. Each customer may buy 1 block kit at the $8 price. If you would like additional kits, you may purchase them for $8 each month.
5. Finish your block and come in yourself on the first Thursday of each month, with your block to show us, in order to receive the next block free. If you miss a meeting, you can purchase your block for that month at $6 and continue as before. (There’ll be a grace period to pick up your block between 10-noon on the following Saturday.) NO EXCEPTIONS!
6. We’ll take the first 150 people who sign up. It will last for 12 months: June 2012 until May 2013.
